Steps to making a Cupake pillow:

      1. Have two 1x1 metre sheets of material. (Ensure you have a colour for the top and a pattern for the bottom) And a 1x1 meter line of ribbion.
      2. Make a paper pattern - Draw the size and an outline of the shape you want the cushion to be.
      3. Fold your material double with right sides together. (Selvedge to Selvedge) Then pin the sheet down on the flat material and make the shape 1.5cm larger for seam allowence.
      4. When this is completed cut accurately around the shape. By this point you should have two tops and two bottoms (For back and front)
      5. Place the material as you would like it to look so that your ribbion can be measured and cut. So far, it should look something like this: DSC07583.JPG
      6. When you have your material lyed out like the picture shows, You can then measure the seam allowence (1.5cm all around) with material chalk (which can be rubbed off and leaves no marks).
